After a period of detailed work behind the scenes with our Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers alongside our Architect, we are delighted to say our project to upgrade our clubhouse is about to start.

Tenders are out with interested local contractors and we expect to make a decision by the end of February ahead of a build start in April.

Our target is to get all the changing rooms finished and the main structures built by 1st September. There is likely to then be a bit of finishing to be done to interiors upstairs before everything is completed by end of November.

In more good news, we are currently going through an application and review process for a further chunk of over £100k of funding which, if approved, will get us almost to our total requirement. The final small gap will then be filled with club wide fundraising initiatives over the next few months.

It’s been a long and winding road to get here, but we are confident we will have a fully refurbished clubhouse to help celebrate our 75th anniversary later this year.
