Following a review of contracts, bar equipment, prices etc the Committee have been working to find a new brewery supplier. We are happy to announce that we have signed a new contract with Tennents to bring our members the best priced and best quality pints we can!

This naturally means a change in some of our draught beers and lagers. While you’ll still be able to get a quality pint of Tennents we’ll soon be able to enjoy pints of Innis & Gunn IPA, Caledonian Best, Drygate Pilsner and Magners.

As part of this change we’ll be upgrading a lot of equipment in the cellar to ensure the quality of product we serve is increased. As well as some upgraded glassware and beer taps we also anticipate that over the next wee while this will allow us to upgrade the bar facilities to make it more practical and aesthetically pleasing.

While we are trying to avoid any interruption to serving you a nice cold pint there may be some stock issues to overcome as we get closer to the switch.

The good news is we’ll be selling some of our current stock (West, East Coast IPA, Best and Strongbow) at a reduced price of £2.50* a pint. (*while stock lasts!)

We’re hoping the new equipment and stock will be in place in time for the 6 nations starting.
